Ruby Rock Media was founded by Social Media Marketer Lexi Rockwell in Savannah, Georgia.
Lexi is an award-winning photographer specializing in photo, video, & social media services. She obtained her associates degree in Business & Social Media Marketing in 2019 & has a passion for all things film & media.
When she’s not shooting, she can be found at Chick-Fil-A or at her local record stores sorting through bins like her life depended on it, or at home editing & watching The Office while counting down to Christmas with a cat on her lap.
When I was little, I begged my mom for a Facebook account as far back as I can remember. I’ve always had a fascination with the world of social media and the power it holds.
In 2012, I picked up photography as a hobby. That hobby quickly lead to a profession, & that profession lead to my Administrative roles on various Facebook pages for the purpose of posting the images I took.
In April of 2018, a close friend of mine who had been studying some of the posts I had made for various organizations told me, “You absolutely need to make some kind of a career out of this. You’re amazing at it.”
Then in October of 2018, another family friend messaged me & prompted further action by saying, “Have you ever thought of starting your own social media marketing agency?”The seed was planted and the rest was history. Ruby Rock Media, named for my birthstone & last name, was launched in April of 2019.
